Welcome To Semester 2
Hi Everyone,
This is going to be our last semester together as a class. This term is also going to be a very busy term. Other than all the various school events, it is also time to see how well-prepared you are for N Levels. It's the Prelims season, I call it. Some of you may think it is "only Prelims" but you have to treat it just as importantly as the real thing. Just like in concert rehearsals, we rehearse as if we are performing in the actual concert and we get feedback from our instructors. The feedback will allow us to perform better so as to please the actual audience of the concert. Likewise, after Prelims, your teachers will focus on your areas of concern and hopefully this will lead you to "perform" much better during the actual National Exams and this time, your audience will be the Cambridge markers, all the way in England. :):)
Having said so, All Work, No Play, will make Jack a dull and depressed boy...:p Do also take your time to enjoy time with family and friends by taking part in healthy activities. For those of you who have been coming to school regularly and joining in the various school events, thank you so very much for your loyalty to the class. This semester, I am going to include some of your reflections of the various school happenings, with your permission of course. If you have any other class pictures you want to add to this blog, do email me at nur_iman_nasyita_mohtar@moe.edu.sg.
I have added some pictures from this semester. Enjoy!
Peace and Love,
Mdm N :):):)

Community Involvement Programme at Elias CC
Saturday, 12 Feb 2011
To those of you who came to help out at the CC last Saturday, thanks a million for all your hardwork. It was tiring ( especially to those who did not visit Mac Donalds often ), but rather fun working together. This is what we call the spirit of "Gotong Royong" in Malay, which basically means co-operating and working together. The RC committee members were very grateful for all your help in helping to set up the place by arranging and decorating the tables as well as packing the door gifts for the RC Chinese New Year celebrations which was to be held that night.

Chinese New Year Celebrations
I was very amused with the Zombie Rabbits. I feel that was very creative as I know that the helpers did not have enough or proper make up to do up the rabbits. Although we did not win the mascot competition, the audience really enjoyed watching our supposedly half-dead rabbits and listening to their 'speech'..."Urrrrgh"..hahaha..I like that! Thank you Luthfil and Arriszuan for being very sporting and thank you Shannan and Jill for helping to turn the boys into rabbits that day! :p
Thank you to all those who helped out the guests from the Society of the Physically Disabled. After interacting with our guests, I think we all feel blessed that we can move aroundvery easily, yes? I was not able to take many pictures that day so here are some which I managed to snap. Will try to get some from Mr Kenneth Soh...Happy Chinese New Year!
