Community Involvement Programme at Elias CC

Saturday, 12 Feb 2011

To those of you who came to help out at the CC last Saturday, thanks a million for all your hardwork. It was tiring ( especially to those who did not visit Mac Donalds often ), but rather fun working together. This is what we call the spirit of "Gotong Royong" in Malay, which basically means co-operating and working together. The RC committee members were very grateful for all your help in helping to set up the place by arranging and decorating the tables as well as packing the door gifts for the RC Chinese New Year celebrations which was to be held that night.

Chinese New Year Celebrations

I was very amused with the Zombie Rabbits. I feel that was very creative as I know that the helpers did not have enough or proper make up to do up the rabbits. Although we did not win the mascot competition, the audience really enjoyed watching our supposedly half-dead rabbits and listening to their 'speech'..."Urrrrgh"..hahaha..I like that! Thank you Luthfil and Arriszuan for being very sporting and thank you Shannan and Jill for helping to turn the boys into rabbits that day! :p

Thank you to all those who helped out the guests from the Society of the Physically Disabled. After interacting with our guests, I think we all feel blessed that we can move aroundvery easily, yes? I was not able to take many pictures that day so here are some which I managed to snap. Will try to get some from Mr Kenneth Soh...Happy Chinese New Year!

Welcome!

Hi everyone!

Welcome to our new class blog. I am very sorry for not having been updating the old one as I errrr....have forgotten the password. Anyway, I have decided to create a fresh new one as we have three other teachers joining our class this year. We would like to thank Mr Lee Lea Khoon for sharing the 3A1 journey last year. This year, we would like to welcome Mr Leong, Mr Mark Koh and Miss Hidayah to 4A1. Looking forward to another exciting year...and yes, THAT N Levels exams...:):):)

Warmest regards,

Mdm Nasyita :)
